Juliana Hepp, with some friends,
founded Idem, an International
Youth Project Network,
providing structures that make it easier for
anyone to become active and take a part of the future into his or her
own hands. The special focus of IDEM is the question of identity and how our personal
identity is developed through becoming active and taking initiative.
Juliana was a key organizer of the very successful gathering in
Sao Paulo, July, 2006, Connectivity - from
Thinking to Action. For a review of

Gyimah Kofi Ezekiel “Zeke” has been a
key participant/organizer of the International Youth Leadership Program
in Ghana since it began in 2002.
He is a board member of the International Youth Professional Foundation / Ghana and was president of his school’s Student Representative Council.

by people’s efforts to create peace
everywhere.

Sushil Koirala from NEPAL is a medical student in
China
and the founder of Peace
for Nepal.
Living in the shadow of poverty and constant
political conflict, Sushil’s personal spirituality and deep
desire for world peace gave him strength and hope. Early in
life, he became an advocate of democracy and human rights.
Simultaneous with his university studies, he works to give others
a means of establishing their own strong foundation in spiritual
leadership, not only through the remarkable example of his own life,
but through the creation of a dynamic peace-building manual based on
ever-growing, interactive spirituality.

Sammy Jacobs Abbey is a Conflict Analyst.
For the past decade, he has been organizing and
facilitating conferences and training workshops in conflict
transformation and peacebuilding. He is a key member of many
international and cross-cultural groups, including Apeadu Peace Center,
United Network of Young Peacebuilders, and Junior Chamber
International. He also works as a West Africa Youth Network
Liason officer to ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States).

Jacquie Furtado is a university student who
promotes the voices of youth, locally and globally, and leads her peers
in being “part of the solution.”
She is a long-time member of her local Youth
Council and an organizer of the International
Youth Leadership Conferences held annually
at Apeadu Peace Center in Ghana. She received funding for a water
conservation campaign that activates youth to be stewards of one of the
earth’s most precious resources. She is a principal
organizer of the WSYC collaboration with GOI Peace Foundation preparing
for an interactive global forum in Tokyo, November 18-25, 2006.

Lanna Nikka Guillen, a student of Applied Finance
and Law,
is an advocate for underprivileged and
disadvantaged people.
She works officially for a nationally funded
tertiary education provider promoting student welfare on the Marquarie
University campus in Sydney. She is acquiring experience and
developing insights that she can combine with her academic training in
law and finance to make a significant contribution for a more peaceful
society. She also is working with the Hindu Vidya Peeth-Nepal
Schools to organize the September 2006 conference in Nepal: Deepening Our Spirituality.

Michael Johns, a professional project manager and
entrepreneur, seeks to be instrumental in creating situations that
result in the raising of consciousness.
He is involved in marketing and concept creation
projects that transcend human ignorance and habitual unproductive
fumbling to help bring forth the essential reality of what he perceives
as an already perfect world.

Augusto Cuginotti was selected to attend the Goi
Peace Foundation Forum 2006 "Creating a New Civilization:
Collaboration with Youth"
The World Spirit Youth Council was officially
launched at this Forum held in Tokyo, November 18-25, 2006.
Augusto was chosen because of his strong commitment and effective
leadership. He is coordinator of Butterfly Connection, part of
the Learning Network (ellerni), developing youth leadership and appreciation of human
values and relationships. 20 youth leaders participated in the
first program, Nov. 2-5, 2006. Two more programs are planned for
2007.

Colin Lee, entrepreneur and speaker, loves what he
does
and does what he loves.
He enjoys diverse experiences, literature and the
perfection of the divine order of the universe, inspiring and being
inspired by the many people he encounters. He is an avid reader
and keeps active in sports.
