The WORLD
SPIRIT YOUTH COUNCIL was established by Forum YOUTH DELEGATES organized under the
sponsorship of Children of the
Earth
15 individual youth came to participate
in the World Spirit Forum. They discovered that they had
been drawn to the Forum through a common realization: Spiritual transformation is essential to
effective peacemaking in the world.
Václav Havel
expressed the same awareness with these words: Without a global
revolution in the sphere of human consciousness, nothing will change for the better...and the
catastrophe towards which this world is headed, whether it be
ecological, social, demographic or a general breakdown of
civilization, will be inevitable. Because the 15 youth shared a passionate belief in
the need for an organized movement
of youth who live INNER PEACE, the
World Spirit Youth Council was organized to meet that need.
This is Wanipha, or as she is called
Nok, who has organized and sponsored so many of us to Thailand.
She runs a Thai School and now is opening up an
international school for students.

Project, Bahia, Brazil
Jacumã Farm is 3500 acres of
beautiful land with an organic coconut grove used by local
indigenous people who are becoming educated and skilled at
handicrafts to raise their level of income and build a better
community. The owner’s intention is to develop and
establish this paradise as a self-sustaining wholistic center
for international groups focusing on healing arts and
spirituality.
