Having read through the list of World
Spirit Youth Council members, I see stars – an extraordinary constellation of
youngsters who radiate a limitless sense of energy and whose
imaginations are fertile with dreams of a world free from war,
conflict, poverty and pollution. ...There is a greater need now to draw together
the nations, races and religions of the world so that their
many-faceted energies may be turned towards cooperation and peace and
away from conflict, rivalry, division and war. If this is to be
done we must start with the children and young people of the world.
May peace prevail on earth.

I believe the philosophy of the World Youth Council

All my adult life I have worked closely with other
adults and youth leaders to enable and empower young men and women to
discover their God Given precious gifts that are meant to be shared
with all humanity. one by one and group by group, through a process of
ACTION, REFLECTION and FRIENDSHIP. After meeting the group of
multicultural and multifaith and spirituality youth as delegates to the
World Spirit Forum last January (2005) at Arosa I am proud to commit
myself and my energy and resources to assist this body of young adults
to gather again this January to come together and grow together and
then share their vision and energy for the future with all the
participants at Arosa Switzerland.
